In every governorate there's a woman weaving in her living room, a family workshop that has shaped copper for generations, a potter whose entire customer base is whoever happens to walk past the door. What they've lacked is a way to reach the rest of the country.
So we built one. Fantoosh gathers Egypt's makers into a single shop window, from Aswan and Damietta up to Fayoum and Alexandria. A workshop with no sign on its door can be found here by someone three governorates away.
Every shop belongs to a real person. You're buying from someone with a name and a workshop, and supporting the reason they started doing this. Your order gets packed by the person who made it.

Our role is to do what a single workshop cannot do alone: reach buyers across the whole country. That leaves our sellers free to concentrate on their craft.
